Noa Connect has three business areas - Advisory, Performance (Bluebird) and Data & Analytics. This role is within our Performance area. With the combined capabilities of NoA and Bluebird we will be able to provide our clients with a true end-to-end solution with everything from brand strategy to performance marketing, and everything in between.
The SEM team operates both strategically and hands-on with SEM on some of our key projects together with a team of specialists across the different business areas (SEM, Social, SEO, and Web analytics). They also play an integral part in business development both within SEM as well as other parts of the business.
About the role:
As a SEM Specialist, your role will be to transform client objectives into effective paid media strategies with clearly defined KPIs to track performance and profitability. You will collaborate directly with clients, providing expert guidance to elevate their performance marketing efforts, ensuring campaigns are executed smoothly from planning through to execution, optimization and in-depth performance evaluation. You will also:
- Take a hands-on approach to optimizing PPC campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, focusing on continuous refinement.
- Use data-driven insights to offer clients actionable recommendations that inform their broader marketing strategy, with a focus on improving both performance and profitability.
- Design and implement bidding strategies, keyword management, and audience targeting to enhance paid media performance.
- Continuously seek new opportunities for growth by testing, analyzing, and scaling successful initiatives.
Ideal Candidate:
- 1-2 years of paid search experience.
- Passionate about keeping up with emerging industry tools and technologies, always looking for new opportunities to experiment and apply innovative solutions.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with an exceptional eye for detail to ensure efficient and effective campaign management.
- A solid understanding of key business metrics such as profit margins and return on investment, with the ability to incorporate these into campaign strategies.
- Comfortable working with analytics platforms (e.g., GA4), using data insights to drive ongoing optimization and achieve superior results.
- Analytical and data-focused, using metrics to guide performance improvements and strategic planning.
- An understanding of AI-driven features of paid search platforms - including Demand Gen - and with the role of AI and its emerging influence on paid search in general.
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, lookups, advanced formulas).
- Collaborative team player, eager to contribute ideas, feedback, and creative solutions.
- Fluent in both Swedish and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM) and basic tracking setup and implementation.
- Familiarity with other areas of digital marketing, such as Paid Social or programmatic advertising.
